But custom bottled water is not only relatively affordable, it’s also something solid that people have a hard time ignoring. You are giving people a tangible product and advertisement to hold onto which always makes people more inclined to pay attention to your brand. Aren’t you more inclined to buy something when you get to try a sample of it first or when you see it on something you use and the thing you’re using is interesting or great in some way?

So, if you want to boost your brand, using custom bottled water at big or small events is not only a creative way to break out of the standard sort of advertising, but it’s also very effective and adds value to the consumer! Using Custom Bottled Water in the Hospitality Industry

Let’s talk about the most important substance on the planet: water! Without it no biological life could exist. In recent years, bottled water has become a popular item on the shelves of supermarkets, in the cupboards at homes, and on the dining tables of hotels and in their rooms.

By using custom bottled water in the hospitality industry, you are sending a powerful message to your clients. It is an effective means of promoting your brand and an essential element in your advertising effort. All business owners will tell you just how costly traditional advertising is and you are hardly able to determine its effectiveness.

When one advertises in print media, the cost for one insertion is very expensive. In the case of the hospitality industry, you will require several insertions. The same can be said for Television and Radio Advertising. They all have the same draw backs and are more expensive. For the hospitality industry, however, using custom bottled water is an effective way of advertising because the people will leave your establishment–and pass your brand on–with a custom label water bottle.

The use of custom bottled water as a form of advertising delivers a high quality message that is designed based on your specification. And with the rising popularity of bottled water, your service message and brand will be delivered all over by the persons who your serve.

The main theme of custom bottled water is to push your brand by emphasizing quality. This will be seen by customers in the label, quality of the product’s appearance–and even more importantly, the purity and quality of the water itself. These are all critical elements.

The design quality, combined with crystal clear taste, will substantially strengthen your brand’s message. If you decide only to focus on the quality of the label and not the taste, this will greatly reduce the positive impact of the brand. This why it is extremely important to emphasize quality.

If you are a part of the Hospitality industry, you stand to benefit greatly from using private labeled bottled water.

There are several companies that produce custom bottled water for the hospitality industry, however most do this as a secondary business, so adequate emphasis is not placed on quality. There are, however, specialized bottled water suppliers that place great emphasis on advertising and product quality. The end product is one that consumers will enjoy as it leaves a positive brand impact that is far reaching in the way of mouth to mouth advertising.

Bill Passed Asking All Bottle Manufacturers to Manufacture Bisphenol A or BPA Free Products

The chemical bisphenol A that poses a number of serious health threats that include cancer and endocrine disorders has now been banned in the manufacture and production of baby bottles in California. This comes as a major relief for a number of parents who were hoping that their children would be protected from the harmful effects of this troublesome chemical. Studies that indicate a harmful effect to no risk ratio of 9:1 led the EWG to pass the Toxin-Free Infants and Toddlers Act. There has been fierce opposition from all chemical industries against this legislation than bans the use of BPA or bisphenol A (that disrupts hormones) in sipping cups and baby bottles. Protective measures such as AB 1319 that help reduce the exposure to BPA shed light on the steps being taken by the leadership to safeguard the health of fetuses, infants, and children who are extremely vulnerable to chemical hazardous agents that disrupt the normal functioning of their endocrine system, their brain, behavior, and prostate gland.

As a part of the bill, manufacturers have also been asked to use the least toxic alternative substance for manufacturing these products thought major retailers and manufacturers stopped using BPA in their bottles from 2006. With the amount of literature available on the dangerous effects of these chemicals on infants and children, it is imperative that parents choose the right and the safest products for their children. There are some companies that have been extremely conscious of the devastating effects of BPA and their plastic water bottles are completely BPA free. While polycarbonate bottles use BPA as a part of their production process, PET (Polyethylene Teraphthalate) plastic bottles never use BPA as a chemical building block for any of the materials employed in the manufacture of PET plastic.

It is recommended that people choose bottles made of porcelain, glass, and stainless steel over plastic bottles for babies because glass does not contain any of these controversial chemicals. More often than not, hard plastic bottles that are marked grade 7 along with the recycling symbol may contain BPA, so the best bet is to buy it from manufacturers who clearly label their products BPA free. Microwaving plastic bottles is a big no no because they break down over a period of time and seep into food and water. So, buying only those plastic labels that are marked Class 1 is advisable.

Recycled PET Bottles Promote Eco Conservation and Decrease the Consumption of Plastic

The recycling industry for PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is huge mainly due to the advantageous physical properties and the chemical alertness of this material that also makes it suitable as a food grade packaging plastic. As the case with most plastics, PET is also derived from the polymerization reaction between an acid and an alcohol in oil. Though it was initially used as a substrate for photographic, video, and x-ray film and also as a synthetic fiber due to its excellent properties of wash and wear, it was only a few years later that its modifications began to appear in extruded and injection molded products.

The 3 D structures that were produced using a wide array of blow molding techniques in the early 1970s saw the quick adoption of this material for the manufacture and production of beverage bottles. It was an ideal material with its light weight, toughness, appropriate gas barrier performance, and incredible optical properties. The IBWA (international bottled water association) reported a 500% increases in the sales of bottle water over the last ten years with 1.5 million tons of plastic being used to bottle water annually. Apart from being the fastest growing beverage industry in the world, bottled water has stormed the markets in its new recyclable form through the concept of 100% recycled PET bottles.

The initiative to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic as an eco friendly movement has given rise to the industry of plastic recycling and PET bottle recycling comprises a major segment of these ‘Go Green’ efforts. Statistics indicate that the United State’s recycling rate has risen to 32% from a low 9.6% in 1980 wherein less than 6% of plastic was recovered from its municipal waste in 2005. While the levels of production and consumption remain at an all time high, the purpose of recycling is not to promote but to decrease the overall usage of plastic.

There are numerous incentives in place to promote recycling efforts that include refunding a fraction of the cost of the beverage when the container is returned to the store along with legislations around container deposits in countries across the globe as well as in some American states. Recycled PET plastic bottles or rPET are now manufactured using processes that reduce the requirement of virgin plastic resins and they have also received the approval of the FDA and Health Canada for the food packaging due to their new levels of purity.
